Visiting Sumino Lab

I visited the Sumino Lab at Tokyo University of Science. The visit was sparked by the recent kickoff meeting of the Grant-in-Aid for Transformative Research Area (A) “Dynamic Material Science.” Goto-san (D3, Takeuchi Lab) got in touch with Yoshii-san (Assistant Professor, Sumino Lab), which led to the visit.

Goto-san and Changle each gave a short seminar, followed by open discussions among interested participants. Both seminars sparked lively conversations.

Afterward, we went out for drinks — of course all the way to the second round. We wrapped up by saying that next time the Sumino Lab members should come visit the Takeuchi Lab. I’m looking forward to future interactions between the groups.
